Today I'm going to show you how we remove hot tubs here at Southern Idaho
Junk Removal we're gonna tell you what tools you can use on any hot tub to remove it and we're gonna basically just show you the easiest best ways that we figured out in our experience to get a hot tub and a deck that's around it demoed, loaded in the container and hauled away in the most efficient time possible check it out guys I hope you enjoy the video and if you do don't forget to hit that like button.
We're knocking this wall around the hot tub down for our customer today we're going to tear down the deck all the wood and make it a nice clear backyard for a job like this is exactly why you should provide on-site estimates that's what we did here the lady told me kind of what was going on over the phone when i was selling this job but i said let me come out and give an on-site estimate and if we agree we'll go ahead and get it done right then and there so that's what we did gave an on-site estimate the customer agreed with the price and me and Alyssa
got to work so i knocked all the blocks off the wall and i started to tear them apart took off the stairs.. loading up everything as you go is important so as Alyssa was tearing stuff apart i was picking up and loading stuff all righty then. we're getting there we've torn off the
front and the the fake stucco and the the bricks that were stuck on the front of there we took off the stairs and Alyssa uh working on the back side here that's closer to the dumpster so we're gonna start tearing apart this whole side and just work our way in that way we can get the spa a straight shot to the dumpster once all these railings are gone stay tuned don't forget to hit that like button just remember for these kinds of jobs you want to bring a sawzall a skill saw a sledge hammer regular hammer several pry bars different sizes and pretty much that'll get the job done cut it beat it smash it put it in the container so as we're going we're cutting this wood up into smaller pieces with the sawzall or the skill saw and then we're just breaking it off with the uh pry bars and we're loading up in the container i used the sledge hammer to knock all those poles out super easy i barely even had a swing and then we just continue to pry up all the way what's up guys so i'm taking a little break alyssa out there doing a little bit
of work still i had to get some food in me because i didn't eat breakfast make sure you guys eat breakfast so important it just like takes all the energy out of you you're doing a hard job like this you know using all your energy and you need any any breakfast to uh give you any energy then uh your out of luck so yeah i'm in truck to eat a little snack and i'm gonna get back to work here in a few minutes don't forget to hit that like button subscribe and uh we'll check you later so i finished my break and i sent alyssa on break and right now i'm just cutting everything into smaller pieces smaller pieces as i take it out we decided that those poles were concreted in so we're gonna have to pull those out with the truck but that's all right let's get everything outside of the way and then we'll get the poles and then the hot tub so this is us getting the deck
we slice that into smaller pieces as well and just fold it up break it off and put it in a container
what up fellow earthlings i had to catch Alyssa butt crack like always right away we were working away on this thing we got the deck gone and we're working on the little front deck the flat ground deck they're almost done with that and we're gonna return early tomorrow morning to finish this job up because we have a couple of drop-offs we gotta go do today before time's up yep nice and slow yep so this is my favorite part here we put the dumpster on the ground
and Alyssa was cutting in half so we can load it into the dumpster into two different pieces while i cleaned up all the bricks and everything around but
that didn't work because it was stuck in the ground so i took the winch off the dumpster and i hooked it up with a strap oh that strap snapped because it wasn't made for weight this strap was and we just used the winch over the dumpster to really literally pull it right into there it was
sweet man it worked out perfect and i think this is the way i'm going to do it every time all right guys so we're finished got the wall and the deck and the stairs and the fish cutting station that was there we tore it all out and we had to use the winch to actually winch it it was winching over top the dumpster and we pulled the hot tub out of this hole and into the dumpster uh like you saw on that hyperlapse but we're finished guys and i'm just gonna pick up you know all this little crap laying around because this is important this makes the customer happy and makes them want to come back all right you guys well we're at the dump dropping this hot tub as you can see wedged in there pretty tight so hopefully it comes out put it in reverse and drop it and she's out of there
